We stopped in for a quick bite and were pleasantly surprised. We were immediately greeted and given a table. This is a family owned restaurant and you can tell by the quality of the food. We ordered margarita pizza 5 euros and spaghetti pomodoro for 7 euros. We also ordered a small water and Diet Coke. The food exceeded my expectations. We finished every last bite. The sauce had a lot of flavor and wasn't too thin. The pizza crust was thin and airy. I am not sure how we were able to finish everything but we did. The prices are reasonable so that also contributed to the 5 star review. If you are looking for authentic, local cuisine then check out Caffee Fontana. Perfecto!

This is a perfect, no frills family run restaurant. Prices are very low, and the good and service are top notch. In 3 months in Italy, I've not had better pizza. Truly loved this as an alternative to the chic restaurants around Como.

Very disappointed. I paid 11 euros for a 'risotto' and all i got was white rice with a mushroom sauce. The rice wasnt even arborio and the mushrooms were definitely not fresh. We also got the tomato pasta which was ok, nothing special. The waitress didnt even give us salt, pepper and oil. The place was quite busy though, and prices for pasta and pizza quite low compared to all the other restaurants in the area.
